Exercise Physiology
Exercise Physiology is a field of study that focuses on the impact of exercise and physical activity on the human body. Exercise Physiologists work with individuals to develop personalized exercise programs that can help improve health and prevent or manage chronic diseases.
They also evaluate the body's response to exercise, monitor progress, and make adjustments to the exercise program as necessary.
Exercise Physiology can benefit people of all ages and fitness levels
Whether recovering from injury or wanting to improve mobility, with one-on-one exercise physiology sessions and ongoing dialogue, you will have the tools and support you need to feel and move better.
People new to Exercise Physiology may worry about body image, lack of familiarity with exercise as a health benefit, or concerns about gym culture, but we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
We are there for you
At an exercise physiology session, we discuss goals, medical history, and identify risk factors. We provide a personalized exercise program, perform specific testing, and take BP and HR before and after each session.
